When I initially made the Bandaid series entitled “Love Hurts” I was presented with the choice to evolve or remain. Nothing about that year was in my comfort zone. I had moved to another country, my marriage fell apart, I was completely lost in what I was supposed to be doing with my life. I felt utterly paralyzed. The big scary truth about trauma is that it permanently changes you and leaves a new normal in its wake. At that point you have a choice. So I had to lay down those things that were no longer serving me, allow the grief to wash over me and recede, and to wear my new life - scars, wisdom, and all - with courage.

*Keep in mind that bronze jewellery will inevitably darken and patina over time.  To preserve the finish on your jewellery I recommend handling with care and storing in an airtight bag.  To restore shine, jewellery can be buffed with a polishing cloth (Sunshine Cloths are my fave!) Or just roll with it. Like with everything, you can embrace the change, or not, you do you.
